Mission is at the heart of who we are--to reach out to others with the love of God, to help those in need, to offer hospitality, comfort, assistance, and hope in tangible ways.

Throughout the year there are a variety of opportunities to participate in mission, both hands-on and through giving and praying. Here are a few:

PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)
community garden (produce delivered to food pantry)
TAP (Transient Assistance Program--offers once-a-year emergency shelter or food)
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
Church World Service hygiene and emergency kits
Heifer Project
Night Ministry
Palatine Township Food Pantry
Palatine Township Project Apple Tree (providing school supplies)
Palatine Township Thanksgiving Baskets
WINGS (Women In Need Growing Stronger)
Home of the Sparrow
Northwest Compass (the Northwest branch of the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County)
Presbytery of Chicago mission opportunities
Special Offerings (One Great Hour of Sharing, Christmas Joy Offering, Peacemaking Offering)

If you see a need in the community or world and you are passionate about connecting people to meeting that need, please talk to the pastor or to a member of the appropriate Season Team.
