The first Sunday in October is World Communion Sunday--a day we remember that God's great family stretches across bounds of geography. We'll celebrate by getting a little taste of God's goodness through different kinds of food!
You are invited to bring a food from your ethnic heritage so we can all get a taste. Whether you came here recently, or your family sailed over on the Mayflower, reach back to your ancestral homeland for something delicious to share.
After dinner (which starts at 5), we'll be studying just what makes God's covenant community possible, even across time and space, language and culture. How does the covenant work? What does it mean to be God's treasured possession? How do we live differently because we follow this Way?
Nursery will be provided, and there are programs for children, youth group, and adults. Bring a friend!
