Throughout the Season of Lent, we learn through Jesus’s journey. We anticipate Christ's gift of Grace. We learn that we need to Share the Journey as Jesus did with his disciples. This Season is all about anticipating the Grace we receive with no strings attached... it is just a gift.
For the after-worship fellowship hour during Lent, coffee, tea and juice will be provided and we are asking people to bring something to Share the Journey during fellowship. In the potluck-style coffee hour, we will share in the Lenten journey.
Ash Wednesday worship will take place on February 18 at 7pm in the sanctuary. The service is reflective, and includes a time of confession and the imposition of ashes, for those who wish to receive the mark of the cross.
Maundy Thursday worship will take place on Thursday, April 2, at 7pm in the sanctuary. The service will include the Lord's Supper and the stripping of the sanctuary.
Good Friday worship will take place on Friday, April 3, at 7pm in the sanctuary. This is a service of shadows and silence.

The Hope College Chamber Orchestra, Directed by Ingrid Lestrud, is on tour! They will be providing a Saturday evening concert on March 14th at 7pm, and then on Sunday they will provide special music during the worship service. WE NEED YOUR HELP! The Orchestra has 18 members and we will need homes to house them on Saturday evening, provide a little breakfast on Sunday morning plus a lift to church. We need to house them in pairs or more, and they can share a room as long as they have a bed or futon to sleep. Please email Teri if you can house these talented musicians. This is your opportunity for anticipated grace to share the journey with these students.
Have you ever thought what happens with our PADS guests when the season ends? What types of things could they use throughout the spring and summer to help in their lives? Check out the list of items that can be donated for our guests on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Please place those items in the basket in the Narthex by Sunday, March 29th. Anticipate Grace; Share Their Journey.
Are you are looking for a way to share the journey of the Kids Hope program? Our mentors could use travel size games that are educational, without being educational specifically games such as Yahtzee, Boggle, or Connect Four. You can put them in the church office or give them to Kelly.
