Food Pantry

In November, 2020 the Presbyterian Church of Palatine opened a food pantry to serve local neighbors in need. In our initial phase, we were working with our next-door neighbor, Winston Elementary School, identifying a number of families with students at Winston to participate in our pantry ministry. In the spring of 2022 we were able to expand service to the families of children attending Virginia Lake Elementary and Jane Adams Elementary schools.

Lists of items available in our pantry are distributed to the selected families who indicate which items they would like to receive. Those items are bagged by volunteers and ready for pick up at the church every other Thursday afternoon.

If you would like to contribute to our pantry either with a monetary contribution or by donating non-perishable food items, please contact the church office (847-358-4650 / office@palatinepres.com).
