Children

Young people are an integral part of the community at PCOP, participating in worship, mission projects, and fellowship events. We are delighted to have our children with us during our weekly services, followed by time with Christian Education Leader. Their weekly lessons & activities from a curreculum based on the weekly scripture readings from the Narrative Lectionary.

Presbyterian Women

All women of PCOP are members of Presbyterian Women (PW) and are invited and encouraged to attend a PW Circle, assist in PW mission projects and fundraisers, join our social gatherings, and take part in the annual retreat.

There are currently two Circles that meet on the third Saturday of each month for Bible study and fellowship.

Men’s Group

The men of PCOP enjoy fellowship and spiritual growth when they gather monthly for B3 – “Bibles, Bros, and Beer”. We usually meet at a member’s house, but have occasionally taken a field trip to a micro-brewery or tavern.

Women’s Fellowship-W3

“Women Wine & Word” or W3 is a book club that gathers monthly at a member’s house. The focus is fellowship around fruitful discussion of a selected book.

PCOP Pantry

Through God’s grace PCOP, as a faith community in partnership with community volunteers, will provide nutritious food to individuals and families of CCSD15 Winston Elementary school who are in need.

Education

Special Bible study courses and book studies are offered seasonally throughout the year according to interest. Please reach out to Office Email for current informationfinancial@palatinepres.com.

Garden Ministry

Every spring, summer, and fall, you can find members and friends planting and faithfully tending the tiny seeds that grow into a great bounty that feeds our neighbors. The eight raised beds on the front lawn produce hundreds of pounds of fresh organic produce for the Palatine Township Food Pantry every year. We grow everything from tomatoes to broccoli to melons, radishes to carrots to giant pumpkins, herbs and lettuces.

We can always use help in the garden, so if you'd like to tend a plot, help make deliveries to the food pantry, or just see what kind of veggies are growing this year, feel free to stop in or email the office at Office Email.

Alcoholics Anonymous (R)

Several AA groups meet in the church building, in discreet spaces. If you are in need of companionship and support on your journey, please seek one out.
